Dialogue for a story

Ivet – Cris, Cris!!! Can you hear me? I need some help!
Cristina - Ivet? Where are you? What’s happened?
Ivet - I’m next to the lighthouse. I was sailing near the cliff when a big wave hit me to the rocks!!! My boat holed and it sink under the sea!
Cristina - Are you Ok? Can you swim to here? I’m 150 meters east of the cliff but I can sail to it’s impossible to arrive with my canoe it’s very dangerous!
Ivet - No, I think I’ve broken my leg, I’ve some injured
Cristina - Don’t panic! Let’s phone the coastguard.
Ivet - Ok, but hurry up! I don’t know how long I can stand here in a little rock.
Cristina - Ok, Ok, hand on! I’m sure that someone will come soon.
Ivet - CRIS!!
Cristina - Now what’s happening?
Ivet - There is coming a big wave to here!! Help!

I remember last Christmas with my family wleven month ago. It was amazing and memorable day.

First, all of my family came to our house. At 3 o'clock we had a special lunch, after that at fice o'cloc we opened the Santa Clause presents and we made the "Caga Tio", a Catalan's tradition.

There were a lot of presents and everybody was very happy. Finally, we read the Christmas poems, we saw a film, we had dinner and all family went to their houses about eleven o'clock.

There were about fifteen people in the Christmas lunch. I remember my little cousin Ramon he was very scaried of the Christmas tree. It was really fun day and I felt very well because there was all my family together in my house.

My ideal home!

My home
Here we are in my ideal home. It’s a chalet opposite of the beach in Santa Barbara, California. It’s very big, but sometimes is difficult to clean. It’s got 7 bedrooms , 4 bathrooms , a big kitchen , a playroom , a beautiful hall , an incredible dining room and a living room . The dining room has got a big old lamp and a beautiful piano and I play it every day.

On an ideal morning in my ideal home we’re all here. My mum and dad are eating the breakfast outside in the wonderful garden. My brother is surfing on the sea. I’m in the living room watching a film with my friends.

I like the garden because it has a big pole and a lot of beautiful plants. My favourite room is my bedroom because it has a large wardrobe, a desk with my computer and a lot of photos, books and posters on the wall I can relax and chatting with my friends in it.

A formal letter

Dear Sir or Madam.

I am the captain of the cycling team. The name of the team is Never Say Never. I am writing to you because we're planning to participate in a big competition next month, and this is the reason why we are looking for sponsors.

The tournament will be in London in May, with around the 20.000 spectators. I think it will be great for your publicity of you company.

A brave rescue

The rescue happened while we were on holidays in Canda the last August. We were eating a pizza in a restaurant, when we heard and explosion into the restaurant. The police and the fire-fitghters came very quickly to see what happened. THe people were very scared because we didn't know what caused the explosion . the police took the people out of the restaurant and they calmed us. The fire-fighters entered in and they saw a large fire ont he kitchen. They extinguished the fire. This was caused by the oven , FIfteen minuts later all came at the normally. Nobody was hurt. But it was a dangerous experience.

A famous person

Justin Bieber was born in London, Otantario, Canada in 1st of March, 1992. He grew up with his mother in Strangford, Canada because his parents were divorced. Their family was poor and he paid the trip to Disney playing the guitar on the streets. He learned to play the drums, piano, guitar and the trumped himself. When he was twelve he won the second position in a music competition on this town. After his mother add to youtube some videos of Justin singing, buyt only for his friedns and family. These had a 10 millions of visits only in seven month. A productor saw the videos and he contacted to Justin for a talk because he had a great voice and a good talent. Few months later he signed the cotracted with Usher.

His first CD was My World, and the first day of sold was on 17th of November in 2009. THe second was My World 2.0 and his last CD was My World Collections with all the songs. Now Justin is the most famosu adolescent in the world and he's hte yougner star with a lot of fans.

On 11th February, is going to be in the cinemas Never Say Never the film about his live, but in Catalonia it's going to be on April :(. Last Tuesday it was the first day to buy his biography called: First Step 2 Forever: My story!!! Now he's travelling around the world making a lot of shows and his next concert is on 3th of March 2011 in Birmingham, UK. And he also is going to Barcelona ! On 6th of April. I'm BELIBER and JB is my favorite singer!

A book or film review

I saw a film called "Bride Wars" . It was a comedy story about two friends .

In the film both friends wanted to celebrate their weddings in "Hotel Plaza" , in New York, but they had a problem . The weddings were in the same day . The girls made the impossible to each other and they fought to see who would get married that day .

I liked the film because it was funny amd exciting and the characters were really good.

A letter from a desert island

My name is Cristina Comalat and I'm writing this from an island near Galapagos. My brother and my cousins are here too. We are lost and we can't escape.

It is very dangarous to live here because there are a lot of exotic animals and we don't have much food after eleven days on this island. We haven't got any mobile phones and we can't see or family and friends either. Every day I swim in the ocean and I make a fire on the beach too. I can cook and swim but I can't climb trees and speak Chinese either.

We can't survive here for a long time . It's very hot and sometimes sunny .There isn't much food .I sometimes cook some birds and other animals , but they are horrible , my cousin Laura and I eat some fruit because we don't like these animals , but my brother and my other cousin eat them! I hate living here.

I miss my family and my friends . If you read this , please HELP US!!!!

E-mail about a holiday

Hi Alex.

I'm on holiday here in Mexico(Caribbean)with my mum , dad and my two brothers .It's very hot here , so we often swim on the sea or pole and sometimes we go to the town.

In this moment I'm in the exotic zoo .In the afternoon we swimming whit dolphins!!! We're looking at parrots and a tropical birds.I like this place but is very hot!!! In the evening we're going to a beach party.

Tomorrow we're going to Chichen Itza(A Maya's temple) whit "quads" .

A good friend

My friend's name is Ivet . She's twelve years old and she lives in Banyoles.

Ivet is my best friend, because she's nice and happy. We haven't always the same opinion but she always helps me when I have a problem.

I sometimes go to Ivet's house at the weekend . We go to the ballet and English classes together . We like music and dancing . Usually listne to music with her. We met a long time ago . And I think SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!

Super - school

At my super-school there are four classes every day .Classes start at half past eight and finishe at one o'clock . We don't go to school on Friday and at weekend.

Today we've fot Maths,tennis,Art and History in the mornig because we don't go to school in afternoon. History is my favorite subject because I'm good at it.

I like the school because we aren't gonig to school in the afternoon .The teachers are very funny and we don't have a uniform.

My day

I get up at quater to eight and I have a shower. I have breakfast at eight o'clock . At half past eight I go to the school by bicycle with my friends . The school starts at nine o'clock and finishes at five o'clock . When school finishes I go to a practise my hobbies and I do my homework at home . I dinner with my family at nine o'clock and wacht the TV . I go to bed at quater to eleven

A brochure of my town

• WELCOME TO BANYOLES

Banyoles is a town in the north of Catalonia in Spain .It's small town , But it's interesting and friendly. It has got a some nice places . My favorite places are the lake and the shops in the old town.

Banyoles has got lots of restaurants and shops . My favorite restaurant is "La Pesquera" (Te chinese restaurant) .The food is very good.

The medieval town of Besalú in ten kilometers form Banyoles and there are some interesting places as the bridge , the main square and a Jewish quarter.

Also there are cities as Girona , Barcelona , Tarragona and Lleida which are very interesting with a lot of monuments.

In Banyoles there's a bus station , but there isn't an airoport or train station . The airport is in Girona at 25 kilometers from Banyoles
