Robin Hood

Robin of Locksley, an English nobleman who joined Richard the Lionheart in the Third Crusade, is imprisoned in Jerusalem along with his comrade Peter. Robin escapes, saving the life of a Moor named Azeem in the process. Peter dies while escaping and has Robin swear to protect his sister Marian. Robin returns to England with Azeem, who vows to accompany Robin until the debt of saving his life is repaid.

1. What were the crusades about?

The Crusades were a series of Holy Wars launched by the Christian states of Europe against the Saracens.

2. How about the same period in Spain and Catalonia?

Spain: The fighting in Spain was simply a Holy War at this time. It did play an important part in the origins of the crusade. Catalonia: Before the northward advance of the Moslem forces had run its full cruse at least one center of Christian resistance had made in appearance at the nothern edge of the Hispanic peninsula.

3. Where's Robin Hood at the beginning of the film?

He was in prison, but he managed escaped, and came back to England.

4. Why is Azeem with Robin?
Because, he was in the prision together. Robin saved his life and after he said: You saved me, now I must stay with you.

5. Where do Robin and Azeem go?
They came back to Enland

6. Who are the outlaws? Where do they live?
The outlaws were the people who lived with Robin in the Sherwood Forest. They forced to paid taxes the people who wanted to cross the forest, and with the money after they gave it to the poor.

7. What happened to Robin's father?

When Robin was in Holly Land, the Sheriff of Nothingam killed the father of Robin.

8. Who's Lady Marian?

She's the cousin of King Richard, her brother was the best friend of Robin. Lady Marian and Robin they met again after a lots of years.


9. Why do Robin and Azeem join the outlaws?
They had the same ideas and they went against the King John too. Because he was cruel, bad, greedy... And they wanted to help the poor people too. 10. Why do they fight against the Sheriff of Nottingham?
Because he was greedy, cruel... And also he killed the Robin's father, and he wanted to kill Robin too.

Can you explain how the film ends?
Robin and Mariam they final got married, in
the Sherwood Forest. When they were wedding, arrive the King Richard he came back to the Crusades and all the people were very happy.
